This eating program has worked well for m, 36 lbs & many inches lost since JUly 5th, 2017. However, Michael you need to work on some of the receipes & check for typo's. For examples: The sweet potato cookies NEVER got ANY cripness to them no matter how long I baked them. Trashed the whole batch.Your Califlower & Sweet Potatoe soup DOES NOT list Califlower in ingredients or in the instructions of preparations. Sooo, how much califlower? I used a whole head.

I am changing my review since Michael was nice enough to add the recipe corrections (see below) Other than that issue, I think this is a good book so I am changing my 2 stars to 4 stars. I was very excited to read about this book and to order and recieve it. My issue is that the author apparently did not have anyone edit the recipes. Here are a few of the recipes I have issues with: Crushed Sweet Potatoes - says bake 15 mins but never gives a temperature. Sweet Potato Breakfast Hash says add sweet potato and onion to skillet but there is no mention of onions in the recipe. Cauliflower & Bacon Soup has no cauliflower or bacon in the ingredient list. I haven't checked other recipes to see if there are other errors but these are just a few of the recipes I was going to try and found errors. I am hoping on his website that the author sends out recipe corrections after having someone edit the recipes Until then, I am concerned with all the errors, how valid is the diet itself??!! I am going to try it cause it is an exciting concept but please, please update the recipes and post corrections for those who already purchased copies of the book. I am volunteering to edit any future books you publish!! I will also update with any weightloss I have!!!!

Although eating so much sweet potato on the quick fire stage was hard and I had to force myself to eat the amount of food I was allowed, I am delighted with my weight loss so far. I can't believe I've dropped weight even though I've felt totally full the entire time of doing the quick fire stage. The book said not to weigh for 30 days but I couldn't stand it as I was convinced I surely couldn't lose weight while eating so much food. I was sure I would gain weight eating like this. So on day 5 of the diet I got on the scale. I was shocked by a 2 lb weight loss. This still blows my mind!!!! Love being able to eat and lose weight. This is a first for me! I've always thought I had to endure hunger in order to lose weight. I guess you're never too old to learn something new :)

I waited until I had read through and tried some recipes before I posted my review... 5 stars all the way!! This is super informative, easy to follow and above all, the recipes are amazing!

The book is OK. Does not give enough detail on the amounts for the carb days. High carb days-how many?? Low carb days-how many??. I can figure out myself that on no carb days means no carbs!! Ok, figured I would go to his web site for the figures. Several errors through out so I though that might be a major one. But all I found on his site was promotions for his products. Even charges a large amount for a "personal" menu. I gave it 3 stars, but really 2 12 is all it deserves.

The book wasn't as easy to follow as it could have been. I had to do internet research to get more information about some parts. Still, an interesting approach. Did I try it? Yes. Did it work? To some degree, yes. It got me thinking about the whole idea of substitutions, and that was very helpful. That aside, I have become an absolute fan of intermittent fasting, and combining the two strategies is what worked best.
